Second graders have been learning about money. Penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. Lots of fun counting change and seeing who has the most money!💰

Second grade has enjoyed the nice weather by playing outside at recess.

Second graders are rocking it this week! We have been reading buddies with a kindergarten class and having fun with inside recess toys and games.

In second grade, we played the fact/opinion envelope game and are learning about er, ir, and ur in phonics.

In second grade- we are reading and finding evidence within the passage to answer questions during reading time.

Mrs Hammontree's class worked on writing what they are thankful for and Mrs Fulghum's class worked on telling time. What a fun time in second grade!

Second grade enjoyed their field trip to the Apple seed teaching farm and making dip. Beautiful day!
