PACK 2.0 families stopped by this morning to connect with community resources, gather helpful information, and best of all, pick up a FREE turkey. I mean… who doesn’t love a free turkey in November? We loved seeing everyone come together to learn, share, and support one another. A huge shout out to Mrs. Santillo and Ms. Aleman for getting everything organized and making today run so smoothly. Turkey time in the art room! Our students have been busy drawing and coloring the most creative, colorful turkeys you’ve ever seen! From bright feathers to silly expressions, each masterpiece shows just how imaginative our young artists are. We love seeing their creativity shine! #SpringdaleFamily

Our PACK Pride was in FULL force today! We loved celebrating our incredible students during our monthly PACK Pride Assembly! From big smiles to big achievements, our wolves showed what being part of this pack is all about. And a HUGE shout out to Mr. Jackson for absolutely bringing the house down! This week we’re celebrating Mrs. Nancy Aguilar, our incredible school custodian! 💛 Westwood simply wouldn’t be the same without her — this place would fall apart without all that she does! 🏫 She keeps our school running smoothly and always goes above and beyond to help wherever she’s needed. Our 3rd graders had an awesome day cheering on the Women's Basketball Team at the University of Arkansas!!! It was such a fun field trip filled with school spirit, teamwork, and big smiles. Our 3rd graders are signing up for a Reading Challenge and it’s going to be pawsitively amazing! Students who sign up will get to “adopt a pet” reading pal and even give it a name! Every time they read 100 minutes, they’ll earn a special prize to celebrate their progress. Let’s cheer them on as they dive into great books and become reading superstars! Our Safety Patrol took their commitment to helping others to the next level today! They learned all about CPR, what it means, why it’s important, and how it can save lives. Each student even received a Certificate of Participation from Mr. Ranger and Nurse Cara for their effort and enthusiasm in learning this important life skill. We’re so proud of our Safety Patrol for always leading with responsibility and heart! #SpringdaleFamily

Parents of choir members- there will no choir after school today or next Thursday.

Our Honor Choir had a wonderful field trip today performing at the American Legion! The students were absolutely fantastic. Their voices and enthusiasm filled the room with pride and joy. Another huge shout-out to Mr. Stewart for doing an outstanding job organizing the trip and preparing our singers for such a special performance. #SpringdaleFamily

It’s National School Psychology Week! We’re celebrating Mr. Jose Luna, our amazing School Psychology Specialist, who supports our students in so many ways like listening, encouraging, and helping everyone be their best selves every day. 🎃 A Little Halloween Fun! 🎃 Today our EAST students 3D-printed tiny jack-o’-lanterns and hid them around the playground for students to discover and keep.
