Yesterday, selected 3rd and 4th graders took part in Kids Helping Kids training with Arisa Health and our school counselor, Mrs. Santillo! We love seeing our Wolves learn how to care for others and make a difference! #PACKpromise #SpringdaleFamily

What’s more fun than Halloween? Having art class on Halloween — that’s what! Our creative students had the best time bringing spooky inspiration to their artwork today! A big shout-out to Ms. Combs for all she does to make art class such a fun and creative place for our students! #SpringdaleFamily

🎃 A Little Halloween Fun! 🎃 Today our EAST students 3D-printed tiny jack-o’-lanterns and hid them around the playground for students to discover and keep. It was just a small, unexpected surprise to sprinkle a little Halloween fun into the day! 👻✨ We loved seeing the excitement and big smiles as kids spotted the pumpkins — happy Halloween, Westwood! 🧡 #SpringdaleFamily

Today was way too much fun! Between pajama day and all the excitement in PE, we might have enjoyed ourselves a little too much. Cozy vibes, big smiles, and lots of laughs. What a fun day! #SpringdaleFamily

Ms. Lopez's class was thrilled to celebrate Ceiamberly, who won the Fire Safety Plan contest and got to ride in a fire truck! Even though it was chilly, everyone bundled up and came out to cheer her on with many of our Wolves even wearing red to match the fire truck! 🚒 🔥 A huge thank you to everyone who submitted their safety plans and a special shoutout to the Springdale Fire Department for making this moment so special and for all they do to keep our community safe! #SpringdaleFamily

Our 5th grade students participated in a “Gallery Walk” where they shared thoughtful compliments on their classmates’ amazing artwork! These projects have been in the works for almost two months, and the creativity and effort really showed. We’re so proud of their hard work and the way they supported one another! #SpringdaleFamily

Students had a blast dressing up from different eras for Red Ribbon Week! It wasn’t just fun for the students, teachers and staff joined in on the time-traveling fun too! Don’t forget, tomorrow is Wear Red Day to show your support for living a drug free life! #SpringdaleFamily

The Wild Dog Mini-Races scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 29th have been postponed due to the weather forecast. We don't have the new date yet. Stay tuned!

Yesterday was such an exciting day for our kindergarten students! They went on a field trip to Farmland Adventures and had an unforgettable time exploring the farm. From seeing animals up close to enjoying wagon rides and corn mazes, our youngest learners had a blast discovering all the fun that farm life offers. We love seeing their smiles and curiosity grow on days like this. What a wonderful adventure for our little Wolves! #SpringdaleFamily

Let’s give a big shoutout to Mrs. Nicole Avitts! 🎉 It’s her first year at Westwood, and she’s already shining bright! ✨ Mrs. Avitts brings so much positivity, dedication, and heart to her students every single day. She’s built wonderful connections with her class and teammates, always leading with patience, understanding, and a smile. 💕 We’re so happy she’s part of our Westwood family! 📚🌈🙌

We’ve been busy with fitness testing the last few weeks push-ups, sit-ups, and the mile run! Our students showed incredible effort and determination! The kids holding the 80 crushed it with 80 sit-ups—the max score! Those holding up numbers with their fingers placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their class mile run! Way to go, Wolves! #SpringdaleFamily

Even though it was a short week, we had a wonderful one! The students stayed engaged, curious, and full of positive energy, and we’re so proud of all they accomplished in just a few days.
