This week we’re celebrating Mrs. Lynette Curzon, our amazing EAST teacher! 🤩 She is truly loved by our students — the kids who are in her class ALWAYS want to be there! 📚💙 Mrs. Curzon guides students through meaningful community projects, teaches them to be innovative thinkers, and inspires them to make a difference. 🌍✨Because of her leadership, our EAST program even earned the prestigious Founder’s Award last year! 🏆 Her support doesn’t stop with students — she’s always there for our substitute teachers, too. Mrs. Curzon is a bright star in our school, and we are so grateful for her! 💫💐

Our 2nd graders came in ready to learn and eager to start the new semester! From bright smiles to focused minds, they showed what it means to be responsible members of our pack. This week, Westwood is proud to celebrate Ms. Tiffany, our amazing Assistant Cafeteria Manager! 💛 Every morning at breakfast, she greets our students with kindness and warmth, making sure they start their day with a nutritious meal and a smile. 😊 Her positivity carries into lunchtime too — she’s always kind, talkative, and welcoming to everyone she serves. 🍽️💬 Her sweet spirit and constant smile make a difference for both students and staff every single day. We’re so thankful for Ms. Tiffany! 🍓✨

Our Safety Team joined in on the holiday cheer by caroling throughout the building and spreading joy classroom to classroom! Their festive songs brought lots of smiles, laughter, and holiday spirit to students and staff alike. We love seeing our teams step up to build community and make our school an even brighter place during the season. What a fun way to celebrate together! #SpringdaleFamily

Yesterday, our Pack 2.0 families participated in a Christmas celebration of clubs and were able to enjoy activities that represent each club from the program. Families also received fun materials and activities that will help them extend their learning over the winter break. It was a lot of fun for everyone! A huge thank you to Mrs. Aleman and everyone who helped put the event together! #SpringdaleFamily

Our Wolves are loving Grinch Week! From festive activities to lots of smiles and laughter, our halls are full of holiday cheer. The Grinch may try to steal Christmas, but he doesn’t stand a chance against the kindness, creativity, and excitement of our students. Thanks for making Grinch Week such a joyful celebration!

This week, Westwood is proud to celebrate Mrs. Shelbi Rains, our amazing GT teacher! 💛 Shelbi goes above and beyond for her GT students, helping them meet project deadlines, providing extra time and support when needed, and finding creative ways to challenge and inspire them. Her dedication ensures that every GT student has the tools and guidance to succeed. Beyond her work with students, Shelbi’s enthusiasm and positivity light up our school. Her students adore her, and our staff is so grateful for the joy, energy, and commitment she brings to Westwood every day. ✨📚💛

Students had a blast drawing cheerful snowmen and cozy igloos, letting their creativity shine with every snowy detail. We love seeing their imaginations come to life through art, one frosty masterpiece at a time!

Just a reminder- drop by Westwood anytime between 8-2 tomorrow (Sunday) to buy some yummy food- all proceeds go to the Stewarts.

On Thursday, the school celebrated a generous donation from community partners and our 5th grade Alpha and Safety team joined forces to help welcome and thank our guests. Both teams dressed up in holiday gear and got to play elves and help unload the delivery. A big thank you to our community partners and the Alpha & Safety team students! #SpringdaleFamily
